My father came to America for a better life. He then returned to Germany and married my mother and brought her to America. He never returned to Germany after that even for a visit. My mother visited many times and I went with her once for three months. I really enjoyed it, but I was quite young.

The relatives I am closest to now live in Munich. Others live near Bremen, Pienne (spelled wrong?), and Dusseldorf. My parents were born in Germany and I have many cousins living there. Aside from my parents only one cousin came to the United States.

What part of Germany are you from? I have many relatives living there.
