To add on, pressing the "now" button should give you some bonus money. And the towers defense, weapons/warriors attacks/defense should be upgradeable. Otherwise the enemies kept getting stronger (stronger as in larger groups, individual ones remains as strong as wave 1) but defense still remains the same. Need to work on it still.

I took it to wave 66. Too bad there isn't any high score table available..
Anyway Just unlock 1 of the weapons (either of the 5), it does help. Try going for the cannon if possible as the attack is quite high. I went for freezing ones, does help, but eventually it gets broke through quite fast.
The amount to purchase the tower also gets higher as you progress, try to save enough to allow you to purchase a warrior/weapon + tower, else the enemies will just destroy your tower without any resistance and you waste your $100+ for nth.
