This game is super hard!
Apart from
movement, you have to repair your barricade, and
recharge your bullets. And also you have to decide
upon whether to get another gun. SO many things to
think of, it's quite dificult to achieve 20k
points.
This might be the best way to survive.

Alright, just played it the second time around for
the blood thirst quest and just to lump everything
together:
Like i stated previously,
the room in the top right is where i find it
easiest to survive. Just continue to fix and
repair the baricades in that room and leave the
other ones alone. The way i played it on hard was
i used the handgun for the first few levels and i
believed i also bought the shotgun at the start
for quick kills as well as the assault rifle(kills
one per the three burst shot usually) and then
finally the machine gun. When i had the machine
gun i just didnt let up on the trigger. Continue
this until you have enough money again to upgrade
the barriers and concentrate on upgrading those
until they are maxxed out. With that being done
now just concentrate on turrets. All i used were
the heavy artillery turrets and they seemed to
work well. Pay attention to the sounds and make
sure you know which zombies correspond to which
sounds so you know what is coming. The big red
guys are slow and easy to kill, the bats take out
barricades for good so just kill them before they
can reach the three you are protecting and the big
blue guys will shoot you with energy pulses or
something and spawn a bunch of little skeleton
monsters. Strategies for each are simple:
Red Zombies - Depending on the gun just take a
step back and shoot them. They dont take much to
kill and they are too slow to pose any real
threat.
Bats - Look for the white dots
on the screen, if you see one going for one of the
barricades you are protecting just take aim in the
direction and get rid of them. You will probably
have the machine gun by now anyways which makes it
quite easy.
Blue Zombies - The are the
toughest ones. On their own you can pretty much
just shoot them and take them out without much
problem but when there are quite a few of them
they tend to have enough time to spawn the
skeletons to block themselves and take tons of
shots on you. Just continue to move side to side
to avoid the shots they take and take out all the
skeletons to finally reach them. They take tons
of damage if they hit you so try and avoid their
energy pulse things as much as possible.
That is about it. That is the strategy i
used and in terms of the quest it should allow you
to reach the 20,000 points
Major tips:
1. All your cash gets added
onto your score as bonus points, such as if you
have only 12K points, but 9K cash, then you have
21K, so the quest is beaten.
2. A
proximity mine does NOT hurt you, so placing one
at your feet and standing on it will be extra
defense.
2. Since you can pause the
game as well as go to the upgrade screen at the
same time, how about running straight into the
swarm, and buying one, it would kill most of them
off instantly, if it's not enough, well guess
what, you can do it AGAIN if you need too. After
all, the only reason you should have to do this,
would be if you are late in the game and need to
knock out a mass of them coming at you
together.
3. Your health refills EVERY
LEVEL, so don't get caught in a corner, run
THROUGH them to a better spot. You could even
place mines when you go through them.
4. You don't NEED every gun, so just buy
what you do need, the more cash on hand when you
finish the more points you have.
5.
Every time you upgrade the barricades, all of the
broken ones are replaced instantly, so instead of
running around and fixing them all, just upgrade
it by 1.
6. You DO NOT need fully
upgraded barricades to win this game.
7. A mouse will be of more use then a touch-pad,
I'm stating that as a fact from experience,
since I'm using touch-pad.
If you are using a touch pad, give up until you have a mouse. Worked like a charm for me.
you know you can shoot at the enemy through your barricade as well it helps a lot
The best way to do this in my opinion is to hold
up in top right. Keep those three walls up. that
only leaves one small entrance for the zombies to
get through.
Also there is a glitch. When in
the menu (space) the game is paused, but if your
next to a barricade you CAN still repair it, even
though game is paused.
1. Stay in the bottom left room
(guard
the 4 barricades just let the other ones alone,
it's too hard running around
everywhere).
2. save up
for the MP5N submachine gun,
(don't
buy any other weapon).
3.
keep buying sentry guns
(it doesn't
matter which one, you gain money
from
them any how).
4. keep
buying sentry guns until the MAG machine gun
(VERY VERY STRONG).
5. buy sentry guns and upgrade barricades as
much as possible
(you should survive
until then).
p.s.
if you see a white dot on your radar, do not let
it reach the barricade
