Easiest way to get points: stay on the railroad track on the left side the entire time, and as soon as monsters start running at you, just back up (stay on the track) and they'll all come at you in the same line.

breaking the boxes gives you 1,000 points a piece :)

stay to the railroad track on the left and keep your weapon aimed upwards, the enemies will come to you and directly in your line of fire. using the crowbar gives you the most points, and if you decide to use the gun blowup the orange things, they're oil canisters and they slaughter everything around them.
