As MiAaKaMiMi very obviously pointed out, don't crash... If you do crash however. Just STOP, let the car in front get a small lead on you then regain your speed and jump, otherwise you'll just bump in to it again and slow you down more.

Also, if you come in to hefty traffic, slow down slightly then start jumping because it's really hard to jump too many cars at full speed in good timing.
