If you're having a hard time at the higher levels, really spend the first few levels looking for a good area that has rails you can leap from one to the next in a long chain. ***You're not going to believe this *** you'll have the exact same rails to work with each level as long as you stay in that area. Though the colors of the scenery change, you appear in the exact location that you ended your last level. Find a good strip and you can rake in the pts level after level.
once you get the hang of it, it takes very little to be able to do a flip and a trick, the slightest bump or very little movement on a rail. Personally I like to do a flip and one trick and then land on a grind, then hold the jump button so you get a good leap off your grind, and do an opposite direction flip and a different trick on the dismount.
