This game is not hard always make sure you go after the bigger planes as they come out Don't fully upgrade you're plane each time to same points get the cannon as soon as you can forget the mini gun save your're money for the cannon

kicked ass on air gunner, the key ls in the beging for the first few rounds do not worry about repairing your plane use the money for better guns and then when you have them repair now and then got the best gun in the end.
