i can never get madagascar

Do what ilhar said, but try to start out in Madagascar, if you don't most likely you will lose the game! They only have one way of transportation (water) and they shut that off as soon as the disease spreads.

Be a sneaky parasite and do (like ilhar say) first all the transmission updates, resistance just important at drugs! Wait till the world infected and then get lethal! Have fun!

if the vaccine is deployed, quickly add more symptoms in order to counteract it

I would also suggest getting all of the resistance and transmission upgrades before making the disease lethal that way you can infect the world and then start killing afterwards

starting as a virus will seriously help as you will be able to evolve the disease at a very quick rate to make up for its weakness of being effected by the evironment
